Directions For All Cards:

I used post it notes to allow me to mask the outside of the printed faux postage frame and allow me to actually stamp INSIDE it. Once stamped I used Leaf Green ink to DTP the background, and Watercolour pencils to add colour. I trimmed around the image and layered it onto a background of William Morris inspired backgrounds. The quote was one I printed from my computer, tore out and added colour using Bordeaux ink. The Muse scrabble letter I cut out and affixed with double sided tape.

For this card I repeat stamped the Ethnic Faux Postage image, cut them out then applied colour using DTP. Next I placed different William Morris Style backgrounds to the front of a card blank, then affixed the faux postage images. I felt there was something missing from this card so I added shrink plastic stamped embellishments to finish it.

I created a background of William Morris style papers onto the front of my card stock, next I stamped the Woman image inside the postage frame using post it notes to protect the outside frame. And also stamped the text stamp to add interest in the background. Colour was added to this image using Watercolour pencils and Saffron dye inkpad. I cropped and affixed this image to the front of my card blank. The quote I printed from my computer and added colour to from the Port Red inkpad.

For this card I stamped butterflies inside the printed faux postage frame. Colour was added to all using watercolour pencils. I then seperated all of the images using scissors and affixed them to the front of the card as shown. Next I stamped the text stamp on hot black shrink plastic to create border embellishments. Further highlights where added using Gold Peel Off Border stickers.

For this card I created a small collage onto an oval aperture shape using the stamps shown. Colour was added using Sage inkpad and DTP technique. I layered the oval shape onto a backdrop of William Morris backgrounds. And affixed real postage stamps for embellishments.
